About Us

The Wallsmiths got its start as a decorative painting business nearly 10 years ago. We have specialised in painting and decorating some of Melbourne’s oldest homes throughout the inner city suburbs of Melbourne. This then further expanded to projects in some of Melbourne’s most luxurious homes as the demand increased for styles such as Lime Wash and French Wash. 

It is through these projects that the realisation for involvement with the more decorative and niche side of painting really started to shine through. Venetian Plaster was a natural next step to then broaden our horizons and further improve our skillset.

Running a successful painting business in Melbourne allowed our business to develop a loyal customer base which ranges from home owners to Architects and Interior Designers alike. 

Our true passion and drive is to be able to assist our clients in achieving their absolute vision for their space, which further fuels the love they have for their home. In saying this, we aim to provide a point of difference in our business by not limiting ourselves to using predominantly paint products, but rather exploring all creative possibilities through our expertise in Venetian Plaster and Microcement. 

Our passion overall is not only improving your space, but telling a story that reflects who you are as the individual behind the space. We all have a sense of uniqueness about us when it comes to our space and our sense of style. Therefore, it is our mission to ensure that shines through in all finishes, colours and styles we can provide to a space. 

The variation in projects we have worked on has allowed our business to adapt and gain experience in all aspects of the industry. This is inclusive of the home, however, not limited to it. We are proud to provide extensive experience in residential projects, retail and hospitality projects, large scale hospitality projects, such as hotels, small businesses in a range of industries and commercial projects.
